Stumbleupon is my new addiction!
When I was searching the web looking for good ways to increase my views on Etsy, someone recommended Stumbleupon. It would increase your view immensely. Let's give it a try!
Okay, it work's. My etsy shop gets way more views. But that is not why I love Stumbleupon so much (but of course more views is awesome haha). The first time I used it I didn't really know what to expect. I didn't really know the concept. But after a few minutes (yeah, minutes, it's really easy!) I totally understood how it worked.
You have to choose 5 interests. I choosed travel, crafts, jewelry, interior design and photography. When you choose travel, Stumbleupon shows you a website that's about travel. By example a blog with tips about planning a round-the-world trip. You can 'like' or 'dislike' the page (you don't have to, it's an option). If you like it, it will appear in the list with pages you liked. The more a page is liked, the more it will show up. When your done with the page, you can click on 'stumble' and the next website related to travel will appear. This works the same for every other category.
It seems to be the same as Pinterest, but with websites instead of pictures. But that's not totally true. Stumbleupon gives you one website at a time. Not like Pinterest wich shows really much pictures that are related. Stumbleupon also had the option to 'like or dislike' sites, Something that Pinterest doesn't offer.
I think this is a really cool way for exploring new websites or finding inspiration, It works fast and easy. Signing in is really simple. If you like to browse the web I really recommend this website/app!
